From 1993 until 1999, Scott Tanner was a product manager for the commercial treasury division of NationsBank, now the Bank of America. He oversaw the development of a $13 million initiative to replace existing processing systems with image-based technology for internal efficiencies and new image-based customer products.
Before he joined NationsBank, Scott Tanner spent three years with Wachovia Bank operational services, where he directed the daily activities of from 24 to 38 employees. His unit production exceeded $100 million credited to corporate customers daily. He streamlined operations so that his unit achieved the bank's highest unit productivity in 1992 while simultaneously increasing product quality by 12 percent. Scott Tanner also instigated policies that reduced employee turnover from 127 percent in 1990 to 33 percent by year end 1992.
Tanner, a Georgia native, holds a bachelor of business administration in management from West Georgia College in Carrollton and holds a Certified Cash Manager accreditation from the Treasury Management Association.
